Personal Statement

I am an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Psychiatrist at the Psychiatry Collaborative Center Center. I have a special interest in treating psychiatric patients with co-occurring medical illnesses in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am interested in using both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy in my practice to deliver specialized care to my patients.

Biographical Info

Dr. Andreu graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience. For medical school she attended Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. Dr. Andreu then moved to New York City to train in Adult Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Andreu then went on to complete a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry with a focus in Psycho-Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. During residency, Dr. Andreu worked as a staff psychiatrist at The Realization Center in NYC for two years where she worked closely with psychiatric patients with co-occurring substance use disorders.
